I have recently upgraded from a Canon 350D (that we still use) to a Canon 50D.
The 350D was a great entry level digital SLR and still works a treat. It’s lightweight, so tends to be the camera of choice if we’re out and about with no plans to get any specific photos.
In contrast the 50D is a heavier beast… the pictures are clearly better when you get them right, but it’s not very forgiving.
