The training sessions are as follows:
10th March – Fosse Way before sunset with Louis, 9.4 miles. 56 minutes. Louis’ KOM attempts on the three Fosse Way Strava segments scuppered by a pack of foxhounds, Bristol Waters’ earthmovers and more groundworks.
8th March – early morning road ride to Sherston, round Leighterton and back via Tetbury (not enough time for a Veloton stop though), 21 miles. 1 hour and 22 minutes. 1224 calories. Average HR 143.
7th March – road ride round Malmesbury, 16.4 miles. 1 hour and 7 minutes. 1172 calories. Average HR 134. Found myself just ahead of three roadies together as I left Malmesbury and managed to increase the gap between us, until they peeled off just short of Sherston.
