There’s a new acronym doing the rounds at Mombee Central… DEDOMP, most definitely not DEDOM.
When I’m out on a spin, if I can possible engineer the route I will go via Veloton (hopefully while it’s open) and order a “double expresso, dash of milk, please”… It’s the ideal pick-up ahead of the final stretch back into Malmesbury.
The “double expresso” is the caffeine hit… The “dash of milk” gives it a little more length, and so adds some browsing/talking time in the cafe… And the “please” is just plain courteous, it would be wrong not to say please (although I know a few riders who think that they’re ‘way to cool’ to be polite).
